This Spring Break SC FCA Outdoors took two groups fishing and camping. The first of these groups was a boys’ trip to Jekyll Island, GA. There was never a dull moment with this group as the guys pulled in many different types of fish, and even several huge blue crabs. New leaders Jacob Lawson and Alex Rushing really stepped up as they helped  younger boys hook and land fish they kept missing out on. One interesting highlight was our visiting raccoons at night who seemed to want to hear about 1 John.

The girls spent Spring Break at Camp Cherokee in York, SC. The girls stayed in cabins and had the chance to ride horses. The fishing and canoeing got interesting with two girls catching their first fish ever. At night there was a great  bonfire with college leader Kalyn Brazell sharing her testimony, and 6th grader “Little Bit” leading everyone in a great conversation. The trip went so well we will have a second this June to Helen, GA.
